After two pediatric visits to his regular doctor and two ER visits. We took our son to children's Hospital in San Francisco a 3 hour drive in hopes that they would be able to give us some answers as to why our little guy was having fevers for the past nine days straight. Our sons pediatric told us the blood work that they took came out abnormal but would follow up with a redo blood work in a week. So blessed to have our sons care at UCSF Benioff my son is 11 he was born at Parnasus heights he was and is a very complicated heart patient and his care has been the best by the pediatric cardiology team and the pediatric Renal team hands down . It's growing day by day and I'm loving the changes and we're excited to meet his new cardiac pediatric Transplant Dr in a few weeks Dr. Jeffery Gosset. ����
I love being able to bring my daughter here. Staff is so friendly, helpful, caring, and understanding. It takes us about a 3 hour drive but the doctors are amazing and go above and beyond to help your children. The only negative is the amount of parking fees we end up paying when we are at UCSF for 2+ hours due to waiting. I also suggest making your appointments while you are at the hospital. The tellers over the phone are HORRIBLE/RUDE.
Very caring staff. You are treated with true compassion. The staff is extremely dedicated not only to their patient's but to the feelings of the family members and to their concerns. The hospital is committed to helping direct the families on how best to keep the family as close to a normal routine as possible. An excellent hospital.
