I recently sent in my benchmade 9100 ako. It was issued to me years ago and it has been my trusty knife through multiple deployments. The tip broke and I recently sent it to the warranty department to see if I could get it fixed. I received extremely personable and expedient responses from the customer service department. I just received my Nitrus Stryker back from Benchmade. I am simply awe struck! New clip and all new screws trough out, not to mention razor sharp. It feels brand new! I am 100% impressed with not only the quality of Benchmade, but their customer service is quite frankly the best I have ever encountered. I am a customer and fan for LIFE. Keep up the good work!
So I open a brand new 810 Contega only to find the middle screw that holds the handle scales on is cross threaded into the post that retains it. It's totally loose and protruding from the handle, an obvious glaring defect that even a blindfolded 4 year old could probably spot, yet it somehow got past quality control. I call to get replacement parts and I'm told they'll send screws but not the post. "If the screws do not work call us back and we can have it sent in for repair". Knife Review: I have owned a BenchMade knife for a couple of months. It has scraped PVC pipe to a smaller size, cut cardboard, wood, wire and plastic. I have used it on feed sacks and insulation board. It was even used as a scraper to remove glue. Last week it got to dull to shave hair from my arm. A couple of minutes with the diamond stone and it shaves again. Holds an edge better than any knife I have ever owned and sharpens with ease on a diamond stone. BenchMade is a winner for me. I had a Benchmade Auto Stryker, and it was one of my favorite knives I have ever had.
Just left their Company Headquarters after bringing in two folders for some warranty work. It was flawless. It was awesome. I walked in thinking I would need to leave both blades there, when in fact they were both returned to me within 10 minutes or so. I opted to leave one folder there so that they could go through it even more. Also true to the warranty, I did not drop a cent for anything that they did or will do for my blades. Benchmade for life!
