My experience with purchasing a car this time was different than any other time. On the way to Beaverton from Salem, my husband and I talked about the amount of time we were willing to be there, how we wouldn’t be playing the numbers game of going back and forth. My wife and I had been putting off car shopping until we finally said we just need to get it over with. You said you were taking Covid precautions. NO YOU ARE NOT. I am higher at risk. Now I can go home and worry about it.

I am aware of your concerns, and reviewed with the employees the required protocols. Kristen sits behind a plexiglass barrier with the floor marked for proper distance. All employees in the public space are required to wear masks. If someone approached you within 6 feet without wearing a mask please let me know. We installed barriers and marked the floor because we do have work stations the customer do approach. Please reach out to me if you have any concerns.
Although car maintenance seemed to be adequate the staff did not seem aware of safe use of masks and social distancing during the COVID pandemic. No masks were used in some instances. Masks were worn without covering the nose in other instances. During check out 5 employees were servicing customers in a very tight, poorly ventilated room. When customers were not present staff were observed not wearing their masks.
