Love it! – I've been going to Beautique for about 3 years for my cut and color and Cristina is the BEST! I get SO MANY compliments on my color. Even when I'm at other salons out of town for weddings, the stylists ask where I get my color done because they like it so much. She's AWESOME!!!
Horrible Management and Owner – I booked in Oct for my Feb wedding. My stylist had left, so I requested the makeup artist to come to us, and was willing to pay more. After a week of phone tag right before the wedding, the manager finally told me two days before they would not allow her offsite, not even to the hotel or church. Apparently the owner called from vaca to say no, because she also work a register...but not when doing our makeup?! Favorite place to go – I wanted to add how much I love Rubina. I have thick eyebrows and found her to be wonderful at shaping them so that they don't look so bushy. She's such a sweet person and recommend her b/c of her willingness to listen to what her client wants. I've also had custom facials done by her and she is absolutely fabulous. When you walk out of the salon you feel like she's lifted about 10 pounds off your face and 10 years off your life. Expert Eyebrow Grooming – I am a big fan and devoted client of Rubina's. She does an amazing job at tweezing and shaping my brows so that they have a great shape, and STILL maintain their fullness. If you hate "skinny" brows, or have been victim to an overzealous eyebrow shaping, I would highly recommend Rubina. She is excellent!
A wonderful salon for many years! – Beautique is a WONDERFUL salon! I have been getting my highlights done there by Steve for many years. Everyone there is very nice and professional. I really recommend Steve if you want anything done to your hair. I have moved to Austin, but come back to Houston every time I need my hair cut and/or highlighted because he does such a great job. Very highly recommended!!
Beautique – This salon has the necessities for a woman all in one place. It is wonderful to be able to make an appt for your hair and to get your brows waxed during the same appt. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about their specialties.
Go See Chris – I was voting on my favorite hairdresser but I can see I'm not the only one that loves her. I have never been disappointed once about my hair. She listens and understands. Her suggestions are right on target. Not to mention she is so much fun to talk to. Also laughing about other comments on her accent......so true. But you will love her. One more suggestion by her was to see Anna for my facials. Also a great person. A must see to really appreciate the two of them.
Words of Wisdom – I have been a client at this salon for 20 plus years. It is sad to say that it has gone down hill. The hairdressers remain excellent - the manicurist mediocre, the people that answer the phones are horribly rude and can't answer simple questions. The onwers may want to consider a can of paint, and a bit of clorox. The parkings is getting worse each time I visit. Sad to say that after 20 years - I am moving on to another salon.
waxing with Rubina – I highly recommend this salon for bikini waxing and brazilians. Rubina creates a comfortable atmosphere for the patron. She is also very gentle by pulling the wax off in small sections. Additionally, The Beautique has lower prices for waxing than most other salons around the city.
