Jennifer is fabulous! – I probably shouldn't share my secret, but she's too fantastic NOT to write about. Jennifer has been doing my bikini waxes for several years now, and everytime it's quick but thorough, she never makes me feel uncomfortable (emotionally that is...), and it's a lot more painless than any other place I've been to or waxer I've used. Best manicure ever! – I had been to a couple of other places in Houston for manicures, and decided to go to Beautique before my engagement photos. Laine is excellent! She was professional, polite, engaging, and gave me some great tips on how to care for my nails. My one gripe is the parking by the shop - it's terrible, but park in the garage across the street and make sure you ask for a parking validation.
Best place for Bikini waxing – Ask for Rubina. I have low threshhold for pain so trust me when I say that she is good. She is amazingly painfree. Her technique is excellent and above all she is very clean. She does not double dip the wax with the same stick, if you know what I mean. Price is not all that bad. I had also gotten a pedicure there and I can't remember the name of that Colombian lady but she did a very thorough job, she was very polite and sweet. That was a bit pricy though.
I LOVE CHRIS – Its a sad thing that this great salon is getting such a bad rap. I started going to Chris for my hairstyles and just think she's great. She has wonderful energy and is very comforting to me. I actually go to her more than I should just because I enjoy being around her. From what I've seen in the salon it has a great comforting feeling as well. Everyone is very friendly. I plan on taking more advantages of spa services that are available. Gift Certificate Day – I recived a day of beauty from my son. I booked it about 2 months in advance. When I arrived I was told that the person that would be doing my pedicure was late. Then, while I was getting the nail portion of my day done, the manicurist - she abrubtly told me that she had to go to lunch in the MIDDLE of my appointment. Then the owner asked another manicurist to do it and she was annoyed and said she would miss her lunch. Finally, someone took over and it was done. Then I was to have my hair styled. ALYSE – i have only been going to beautique for about 2 months and i have to recommend one of the staff members, alyse, that has been doing the microderm treatment on my skin. during my first visit, i was experiencing horrible adult acne. she had asked me about my home skin care and after hearing the products i was using, she recommended better products that she knew would be able to help. she is very knowledgeable in her field, very personable, and willing to go the extra length in order to assist in any area you're having ... read more
love my hair – I loved my haircut. Kim is the best. She listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. Hard to find hair stylists like her nowadays. They're always trying to turn you into something that you are not. Definitely will be back.
Beautique is GREAT in my book – I've been going to this salon for just under 2 years and have had wonderful experiences everytime. I've had the spa treatments by Anna and Silva for facials. Tracy for massages, which were fantastic, and Carri and Chris. Both amazing. I've not run into any problems since going there, and feel that Beautique is getting a bad rap on just a few bad reviews. One massage therapist – I love Alice (mary), she is a new massage therapist at Beautique. She is wonderful. No one has ever worked out my kinks the way she has, and her treatment lasts me a long time. She makes me feel so comfortable and relaxed, she is a great asset to this spa.
