I LOVE THIS PLACE! – This place was great. I felt welcome and recieved personal attention from the moment I walked in the door. Both my facial and massage were soothing and relaxing, I really love my new hairstyle, thanks Megan!
WHAT A GREAT PLACE – My day at Beautique began with color and hilites. I was booked with Turk as usual. I have been a client of his for four years and he always does a great job. He always kept me trendy and fashionable. Congratulations on your new location! You are awsome and I'll follow you wherever you go.
I LOVE JENNIFER! – I swore off bikini waxes after a horribly traumatic experience at an established salon (rash, excess bleeding, scabs from losing skin). But, after reading Jennifer's reviews I figured I'd give it one more shot. I called for an appointment and was able to get in on the same day. I explained to her my worries and she laid them all to rest. She was SO FAST and made great conversation - the whole thing was over within minutes. She's skilled, precise and professional. Highly recommended.
A La Carte – Vicky gave me the best highlights I've ever had. But...she failed to tell me it would cost $4 to shampoo my hair (I thought that was inlcuded in the highlights- can't leave the bleach in forever!?!?), $1.50 for conditioner, and $29.50 to blow dry my hair (that was NEVER mentioned). I was pleased with the color, but I'll leave with my hair wet next time!!!
Good spa pedicure – I enjoyed my spa pedicure with Tran. She did a great job and the results have lasted for 2 weeks now! I was a little bothered by being charged $5 extra for something that I was not aware of though. It was easy to get a same day appointment here. Most of the staff I met were friendly and experienced.
nowhere else for waxing! – After an awful wax experience at Michael Kemper Salon (a 30 minute wait after my appointment time and lots of pain, breakage, and rash) and reading Jennifer's rave reviews, I called to make an appointment. All I can say is "Wow"! 1) I had an appointment for the same day that I called! 2) Indeed, Jennifer does a great job! And 3) Yes, she is very fast and precise! I won't go anywhere else!
Pricey, but quality – I agree with the other posters re: Laine --- she does fabulous pedicures and even better pink & whites. I also like Jennifer for waxing --- she's efficient, accurate, and down-to-earth. More generally, I think Beautique is a bit overpriced (especially for highlights and haircuts --- they nickel-and-dime), but I love the salon's convenience and friendly, well-trained staff.
Wonderful experience – Alisa does the first painless waxing I've ever had (including Brazilian). Laine is a fantastic pedicurist. I will never go anywhere else again. The salon is ultra clean and everyone is very friendly.
Worst Experience in a Houston salon! – Nothing more than a terribly expensive TGIF. After waiting over 20 minutes for my appointment to begin, I sat down for the worst experience that I have ever had in a salon. I was left with wet hair so that the stylist could begin her next appointment on time. I instructed her that I react badly to certain styling products, and she used said products anyway.
