The nighttime nursing staff is exceptional. The daytime staff is horrible. The wait time from calls from the nurses station was ridiculous. There was a machine beeping loudly with nobody in it. When I asked a nurse, she went in the room, walked out, and walked away. I had to walk to the nurse's station to ask someone to turn it off. Well, after that, the day time nursing staff was rude. Took father in law because we were told they could treat potential stroke victims. ER was fair but once transferred to floor, major dis functionality. Father on lW also had major bacterial infection and nurses did not start taking temp until we demanded it several times. Turns out he had 103.6 Then a neuro dr. Walks in smiles asks how he is going. Father in law unresponsive. We asked about his review of MRI he says he has not seen it and has other patients to see and left. Now it has been 24 hours at hospital and we have not... read more

normally I do not do "long reviews", but after spending the last week in there, I have to say the professional and courteous staff during my stay made my recovery much more enjoyable. Connie, Jessica, and Stephanie (3rd floor nurses) as well as the techs AND catering team went above and beyond. Good to know that quality care like this is just around the corner from me!

I love this hospital. After being misdiagnosed 2 times at another hospital in sunnyvale, I ended up here and was immediately diagnosed with PE, they gave me the care I needed! I had both my daughters delivered here as well! Staff are nice from nurses, pct, cleaning staff, to kitchen staff!!!

I went in with severe back pain that left me in tears. After an hour wait and no initial exam I was brought back to registration where I was told that since 'my life is not at risk' they would not see me. Then proceeded to give me a brochure of other places that 'might' be able to see me. I will never go back to this hospital. Presbyterian of Rockwall took very good care of me when Lake Pointe wouldn't even look at me.

I had a baby boy in January of this year at Lake Pointe. My experience was somewhat unique. My original plan was to have the baby at Hunt Regional in Greenville, but after numerous trips to L & D with constant, painful contractions, I was sent home. After two weeks, I finally decided to go to Lake Pointe because I felt like something was wrong and neither my doctor or the hospital in Greenville would listen to me. Took my mother to emergency room tonight because she has been suffering with anxiety and depression, due to her Parkinson's disease. Reason for visit was looking for a doctor to examine her and possibly give her a stimulant. But after meeting with Erica in the ER, she basically explained they were too busy for us and told my mother there was no room for her. Not recommended, the lack of communication by staff and the fact that the scripts given could not be filled by CVS or Walmart, because they could not verify the doctor who wrote them!
