I was lucky enough to find this place, with a room available two days prior to our trip, after reading all the wonderful reviews I knew we had to stay here. I wasn't wrong! Great, clean, comfortable room, at a decent and honest rate. But what makes this place so great, is the owner, Luann, just speaking with her on the phone was a wonderful experience! Great place! Clean and friendly! Location is perfect too!
They accommodated us in the cottage 2 days prior! It had an awesome kitchen and the ambience was beautiful! It was quaint, nautical and fun! We will definitely be back!
My sister, daughter, and I had a fantastic stay at Bay Port. The staff were all wonderful and the accommodations were perfect for us. From the hammocks, to the short walk to downtown, to the friendliness of everyone staying at the motel, we will make Bay Port Lodging our go to when we visit family in Frankfort. My only suggestion would be to turn the fan on if you're a light sleeper, as the walls are somewhat thin and outside noise travels inside easily.

Amazing place to stay, walking distance to town, and wonderful people. We had such an amazing time and Luann the owner is quite welcoming and delightful! Thank you for an amazing weekend! We will be sure to be back and visit. Make sure if you go to Frankfort, MI...you stay here! <3
