Received a Pain Management consult on 5 October from my Primary Care Provider . Was initially advised it would take 30-45 days. On 9 January I called and attempted to discuss the consult. Bay Pines is too far away. The VA Clinic in Sarasota appears to have rotational Doctors. Since Dr. Page left, I don't think I have seen the same Dr. more than once? I have a Primary Care Provider, Dr. Hawke, 2512 N Tamiami Trl, Nokomis, FL 34275. I am satisfied with this arrangement..

Every time I think Bay Pines has turned the corner heading towards a more positive direction, they surprise me. This is not my first negative experience with them. If you have a choice, ANY other choice in your health-care, please use it. Unfortunately, I know some soldiers do not have options.
