RecommendedOur wedding cake this past Saturday was so beautiful! We also got our grooms cake from here (Saints jersey) and it looked so amazing! I cannot wait to share pics. Communication was also super great and the whole cake ordering process was easy. Thank you so much, Baum’s!
I went to the Florida blvd location to Place a speciality order cake for my daughters upcoming birthday celebration. I was greater by a young lady near the front counter. The young lady directed me informed me that she could not take my speciality cake order and directed to the speciality cake section. I waited 10 minutes and no one came to assist me and there two employees sitting near the cash register in the speciality cake section. I will not return. I will try Ambrosia bakery; hopefully I will have a better experience.

I’m sorry you were disappointed. We schedule specific employees to take specialty cake orders and both of them were assisting other customers when you came in. The people sitting at the end of the order counter were a kitchen employee and a sales rep for a vendor. Neither of them are trained to take specialty cake orders. Thanks for the feedback.
Baum’s has a very high turnover rate of employees so the customer service is very poor. The staff refuses to accept responsibility for their actions and will speak to customers in a very unprofessional tone. I have used Baum’s for over 25 Yrs but today will be my last. We as professional positive Blacks must stop allowing these local companies to handle us differently when we normally contribute more as consumers.
Baum’s petit fours are a sure way to make my daughters happy. They miss this treat from home town.
