I speak so highly of you guys. I am in shock that I came in at 8am and could not get anything special done to a tiny 6" round smash cake by this afternoon. I have always spoken so highly of Baum's but will reconsider that in the future. 6 hours notice to put some pink rosettes on a 6" round should be more than sufficient.

The cake for my daughter’s wedding on Saturday night was not only beautiful but it was absolutely delicious. My only complaint is that if you have to call with questions for any reason the customer service on the phone is not great. They put you on hold to ask ‘someone’ what to do and that ‘someone’ is obviously not willing to just pick up the phone and help the customer. The person we met with for the tasting and to order was great ! I’d recommend the cakes but I’d suggest getting a personal contact number for future follow... read more
I could’ve gotten a better looking cake from Wal-Mart’s bakery! I had someone pick the cake up for me and they signed for it not knowing what it was supposed to look like. And when I called to complain, I pretty much got “there is nothing we can do”. Bad, bad customer service. Baum’s, you should be embarrassed that this left your store.

Hi Kristy, We’re sorry to hear you’re disappointed. The cake was decorated as the order was written: baseball in one corner, SLU in the bottom corner, and writing in the center. We have all of our customers sign for the cakes before they leave, so if anyone is unhappy, we will gladly fix the cake before it leaves the bakery. The paper they signed asks that a picture be sent if the person whom ordered the cake is not the one picking it up. This policy is in place to prevent customers from leaving our store unhappy.
