Bates Nut Farm started with walnuts, but now purchases nuts from all over the world. Pistachios, pecans, cashews, peanuts, pignolias, sunflower seeds and much more can be purchased on the farm. The nuts come raw, roasted, some spiced up and unsalted. To ensure quality and freshness we roast and package our nuts on the farm. The Bates family takes pride in providing a quality product at a fair price. It's part of the tradition.

The entertainment for the children is great. This is our second year visiting the pumpkin patch and we love it 😍

We love bates nut farm. It was a nice day to walk our dog there. Weather was good and it was nice sitting under the trees. Bought a few goodies in the store.
Their gift shop is amazing! They have the best loose leaf tea selection I’ve ever soon, and gourmet fudge in many flavors, all kinds of bulk foods and gourmet stuff. Lots of amazing trees full of Christmas ornaments. So fun!
My family lives in Valley Center. I grew up going to Bates with my Grandma all the time. We stop at Bates every time we come to visit my family. Brings back such good memories. Everyone is very friendly and it’s always a good time.
Parking is free, variety of attractions to choose from, great family/kid friendly environment!
Great food, especially the lobster roll, great people and such a fun experience. We've made this our annual family tradition :-)
well situated in the mountains. Great location, between trees. it was a nice place to spend some hours. plenty of things for the kids, and lots to choose from, when it comes to eating. stop by and enjoy. when We went it was packed. so that should say something
