Bates Nut Farm started with walnuts, but now purchases nuts from all over the world. Pistachios, pecans, cashews, peanuts, pignolias, sunflower seeds and much more can be purchased on the farm. The nuts come raw, roasted, some spiced up and unsalted. To ensure quality and freshness we roast and package our nuts on the farm. The Bates family takes pride in providing a quality product at a fair price. It's part of the tradition.

lot's of kids activities and I love the store
I love this place!! Everything from car shows, food trucks, craft fairs, pumpkins oh and the taffy lots and lots of taffy 😁 Something for everyone.
Such a joy to visit Bates. Starting taking my daughter when she was a toddler 20 years ago, and never miss a fall trip. Didn't get. Pumpkin this time, but always find interesting items in the general store and of course lots of candy! Yum. It's a pleasant drive too.
This was our first experience here. We had a great time and will be back again!

My first visit was 10/14 with my husband, son, daughter-in-law and 4yr old granddaughter. It was a perfect day and we hope to make it a tradition. The prices were not too high and there was plenty for our little one to do. She loved the petting zoo, pony rides and even the Straw maze. Friendly staff & animals. Free parking & animal feed is only 50 cents a bag. Lovely drive & fun experience
It’s great for the whole family parking is only five dollars there’s hayrides lots of food vendors lotta activities for the kids face painting and the store Has plenty of souvenirs at a great price we We took plenty of pictures best pumpkin patch in North County — with Veronica Martinez-vidaurri and Marissa Vida.
