Bates Nut Farm started with walnuts, but now purchases nuts from all over the world. Pistachios, pecans, cashews, peanuts, pignolias, sunflower seeds and much more can be purchased on the farm. The nuts come raw, roasted, some spiced up and unsalted. To ensure quality and freshness we roast and package our nuts on the farm. The Bates family takes pride in providing a quality product at a fair price. It's part of the tradition.

Full of weeds is that attack dogs at AKC show
Go early! Line for parking at 12:30pm was 3 miles long waiting to get in. Prices reasonable. Pony rides and petting zoo not too long line if early. Food good.
Went to a fabulous wedding at Bates Nut Farm yesterday. Great wedding venue.
Just was here today..we caught a break with the weather as it wasn't too hot..enjoyed walking around and looking at the animals. LOVED Farmer's Daughter, and I must have looked at everything in the main store at least once.Definitely bring lots of money..and this is the perfect time of year to visit,because they have Christmas everything there already! Pro tip:Get a sample of one of the many kinds of fudge they have-you will wind up buying some,it's almost assured!
Been going there for years with the kids and the grandkids. Great place to bring the kids for holidays .

This is a fantastic place to visit, even when not attending one of their many sponsored events. Plenty of variety for so many varied interests, novelty items, animal farm, foodstuffs and holiday theme decorations, just a great family atmosphere!!
Our first fall tradition in three years, was going to experience the hay maze, hay ride and the pumpkin picking patch pick, We got the pumpkin patch deal which included tickets to hay maze and $7 pumpkin pick and was well worth the $10.75. Thanks Bates nut farm for helping to create a new fall tradition.
Been coming here for years to get our Giant Pumpkins.This year's pumpkin was 127lbs! Would highly recommend Bates Nut Farm. Just a tip to get there early; this place gets packed by 10-11am and there will be a line waiting to get in.
