Bates Nut Farm started with walnuts, but now purchases nuts from all over the world. Pistachios, pecans, cashews, peanuts, pignolias, sunflower seeds and much more can be purchased on the farm. The nuts come raw, roasted, some spiced up and unsalted. To ensure quality and freshness we roast and package our nuts on the farm. The Bates family takes pride in providing a quality product at a fair price. It's part of the tradition.

Everything was good but the avaialable selection of pumpkins. The pickings were slim. Gonna get them at Walmart.
attended a christmas fair, great outing for all generations, petting zoo was a hit, as were the stalls and the farm's own stores. candy counter was a fan favorite, and the christmas decorations were so charming. something for everyone. — with Courtney Dade.

Close enough to town so the drive is not too long, but far enough away that it feels like a day in the country. Great gift shop with festive seasonal decorations and yummy goodies - I always pick up some dark chocolate honeycomb and lots of nuts, of course! Best pumpkin � patch in SD County with so many other fun activities for the family. It's a holiday tradition! Go early in the season to avoid the crowds.
Great place to take your family, great fudge , lotsa nuts, one of a kind Knick knacks.
