Bates Nut Farm started with walnuts, but now purchases nuts from all over the world. Pistachios, pecans, cashews, peanuts, pignolias, sunflower seeds and much more can be purchased on the farm. The nuts come raw, roasted, some spiced up and unsalted. To ensure quality and freshness we roast and package our nuts on the farm. The Bates family takes pride in providing a quality product at a fair price. It's part of the tradition.

I always enjoy the pumpkin patch/ harvest festival at Bates Nut Farm. Sunday it was very crowded there were long lines everywhere. However all the employees were doing their best to make it a great experience. The crowds are a testament to the Bates Nut Farm popularity.

I had a great time with my husband Jason at Bates Nut Farm on the 4th of July. Can't wait to come visit the animals again and pick up some more fudge.
We always love DJing here. It's a such a relaxed and beautiful location. It really feels like you're out of town and yet close to San Diego. The ceremony area in the meadow with the doors coming out of the ground is a very cool touch! Dancing DJ Productions
Ive been going here for the last 7 years for Halloween and Christmas and during the off season. Its great family fun and wont break the bank. The only con is Ive noticed in the last 2 years there are more rude people present and more littering. Its a private family farm and people trash it. Its kind of sad.
Loved the place!.....all kinds of unique gift items, beautiful landscape and wonderful customer service.
Lovely place for a wedding. It's a bit chilly in February so might want to wait until March! But we had a lot of fun and the beautiful views added to a wonderful wedding.
Fantastic place to take your family. I wish I could give 10 stars. Pumpkin patch in October is so much fun. The craft festivals they have are awesome as well. It's our family tradition to go up and take pictures in the pumpkin patch each year. Love this place!!!
