Bates Nut Farm started with walnuts, but now purchases nuts from all over the world. Pistachios, pecans, cashews, peanuts, pignolias, sunflower seeds and much more can be purchased on the farm. The nuts come raw, roasted, some spiced up and unsalted. To ensure quality and freshness we roast and package our nuts on the farm. The Bates family takes pride in providing a quality product at a fair price. It's part of the tradition.

What happened to the pumpkin patch? We visited 4 years ago and it was so full and green, tons of pumpkins - this year there was hardly any greenery, a bunch of the pumpkins were broken and left to rot. There was a nice hey maze, and other fun stuff, but from our perspective, driving 2.5 hrs, we were really hoping to see a lush, green pumpkin patch :(

I love, love, love Bates! I am so grateful to have such a beautiful place in our community. Traffic in October can be a little challenging, but I wouldn't trade it for anything! It is a wonderful family owned business that is so supportive of our community. Thank you being a staple in our community-and for having the BEST pumpkin patch in the county!
