Bates Nut Farm started with walnuts, but now purchases nuts from all over the world. Pistachios, pecans, cashews, peanuts, pignolias, sunflower seeds and much more can be purchased on the farm. The nuts come raw, roasted, some spiced up and unsalted. To ensure quality and freshness we roast and package our nuts on the farm. The Bates family takes pride in providing a quality product at a fair price. It's part of the tradition.

Summer Food Truck Festival was fun
You have to visit Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center CA, especially around October for the pumpkin patch festivities. Great little getaway!
I love bates nut farm I started visiting at age 9. Then worked there as a teenager. I now live in Oregon but I made a trip with my kids for them to enjoy it. This is my happy place. Love it.
best place to get your pumpken with your family
I have visited Bates every year since I moved here 7 years ago and we have always loved it! However this year we were charged $5 to park in the middle of a huge muddy field. They charged us for the petting zoo, and everything. It ruined it!! I took a good friend and her grand daughter and promised them a fun inexpensive family afternoon.
