Bates Nut Farm started with walnuts, but now purchases nuts from all over the world. Pistachios, pecans, cashews, peanuts, pignolias, sunflower seeds and much more can be purchased on the farm. The nuts come raw, roasted, some spiced up and unsalted. To ensure quality and freshness we roast and package our nuts on the farm. The Bates family takes pride in providing a quality product at a fair price. It's part of the tradition.

Got off work in San Diego, picked up the wife, drove through the horrendous traffic to get to Bates, we have made Bates a "tradition" each Halloween,,,,after two hours of fighting traffic, still folks at Bates - folks walking around selecting their pumpkins and walking out with them - WE WERE REFUSED ENTRY, WOULD HAVE TAKEN US TEN - FIFTEEN MINUTES TO GET OUR PUMPKINS - SPOKE WITH TWO DIFFERENT BATES EMPLOYEES - no courtesy, no understanding . . . .Well NEVER AGAIN , what crumbs - Yesterday we went to "pumpkin Patch", Pinkle... read more
