Dr Barrett is truly one of the most reasonable doctors I’ve been treated by. He can make time for you and not rush you because he invests the time to build that trust with you. He respects your time and often tries to help troubleshoot via email to help spare you the office visit. I drive from lake forest, CA up to HB to see him because he’s worth it!
What I most like about my experience is that I'm able to get in on the same day I call when I have a medical condition that is concerning. Dr. Barrett goes above and beyond what other doctors do when caring for his patients. He cares about his patients not just their health condition. You won't leave with unanswered questions.
Dr. Barrett and his staff are always on top of it! Their follow-up is impeccable and they truly are concerned about their patients. They are friendly, personable and professional in everything they do. Absolutely the best primary doctor my husband and I have ever had.

Dr. Barrett and his entire staff treat us like we are friends and not just a patient. They listen to our concerns, they take the time to explain, and they are so good to our children. He has a great working relationship with colleagues which is obvious when we mention he is our primary. He has taken his personal time to talk us thru multiple emergencies by phone and never fails to call us again later to see how we are doing. So thankful to have found this practice.
Dr. Barrett has been my PCP for over 20 years. He and his staff genuinely care about their patients and take time to listen.
