If you are in the mood for a 1960s flashback, drop by at this neighborhood pub in the Hawthorne District. This hippie pub is the oldest McMenamins, been in operation since 1983. The psychedelic artwork and Grateful Dead atmosphere will entertain you and your friends for hours. Enjoy a game of pool or play one of the many supplied board games. Sit upstairs in the little balcony for a bird's eye view of the action. Order a pint of Hammerhead or other brews and enjoy daily specials such as Wilbur’s Jumbo Deluxe.

Just popped into the Barley Mill for a quick pint, but bartender Gregory was so much fun we stayed. Even wrote the 12 Days of McMenamins with him. so much fun. thanks for a Fab night. wish every bartender was as great as Gregory!
