Food was great, but the service was so horrible I'd rather starve to death than go to this place again.

Wedding Rehearsal Dinner at Bare Bones on 6/10/16 for my son was absolutely outstanding -- food was wonderful, service impeccable, and venue most memorable. Clay Bailey (General Mgr) made the process and evening a true pleasure -- and Captain Bryan and Wait Staff Kat & Kat were so attentive and professional during our banquet for 43. This place was incredible! We had the pimento cheese appetizer, which is always near and dear to our hearts. Then the Shrimp and Grits, and the Scallops Risotto. Both cooked perfectly. People next to us had steak and ribs. We will try them next time because they looked and smelled wonderful. And Jessica was the very best server! She absolutely made our night!
Being new to the area, and wanting to find great local restaurants, we decided to give Bare Bones a try for my husband's birthday. I called in advance to make reservations for a party of 4 but when we arrived, there seemed to be some confusion regarding our table. AMAZING!!! Everything was Awesome!!! I couldn't stop eating my steak and sweet potatoes. Staff was so wonderful!!! We will be going back for sure.
This was our first time eating at Bare Bones. And that will be only time there. I got the Steak of the day special and my wife got the Filet. Both steaks had no flavor at all except for the burnt parts. They were both dry we ordered them medium. The salad was laughable may five leaves of lettuce and no dressing. We had no bread at all. So if your looking for a great steak this is definitely not the place to go.
Started out with homemade pimento cheese with homemade crackers. Next was a homemade mozzarella salad. Entree was an insane Chateau Briaund for 2! Amazing service! Fabulous full bar and wine menu... and so close to home! So unique!
