Barclay Prime's decor is more on the side of an uptown eatery with marble tables, comfortable plush sofas and walls lined with walnut bookcases. Order from the special menu, which consists of Kobe Sliders, Tuna and beef Tartar and the famous Philly Cheese steak. From the a la carte menu, take your pick from the Oysters Rockefeller, 12-ounce filet Porterhouses and the dangerously delicious sounding butter poached-lobster.

Best Steak in Philadelphia – We recently visited my favorite restaurant of all times. The Barclay Prime is without a doubt, the best steak house you will find in ALL of Philadelphia. Amazing Food, Staff and Atmosphere – Barclay Prime has never disappointed me! I come back every time I'm in Philly. Everything was great; The Tajima Flat Iron steak was delicious and a great compromise in price if you want the buttery taste and smooth texture of Kobe without the Kobe Filet Price tag. Service was equally amazing, Michelle and her staff are world class...really, I travel the globe and this place is tops. It's worth every penny!
one of my favorite places – very nice place, it's classy and very comfortable . the steak is outstanding, lobster soup is incredible. always look forward to come back to this steakhouse.
Have not found a better restaurant in Philly – I've been to a lot of places to eat in Philly, and a number of its steakhouses. Barclay is the best, period. Capital comes close, but does not equal it. The 24 oz porterhouse is the best deal on the menu. The Wague/Kobe is good, but in my opinion not worth the added price. what a dissappointment – oy vay - my father said don't bother, but I had to try it, especially since we had reservations at Table 31 rthe next week. Dad was right. Everything is top notch. – This is my anniversary dinner place, and I look forward to it every year. Yes, you will spend a lot of money here, but it is worth it. The place is decorated beautifully, and there's not a bad seat in the whole dining room. I have always gone early on Saturday evenings before the dinner rush, but always make reservations anyway.
