This large and spacious white brick-walled restaurant is located in the meatpacking district of New York. With garage-style doors, cafe chairs, and an open kitchen, it has a very minimalist look but is comfortable nonetheless. Barbuto offers outdoor seating during Spring, so you can enjoy the open air while you munch away. The menu, which features regular Italian fare like pastas, antipasti and the like, changes everyday. Chef Jonathan Waxman is very particular about using the freshest of ingredients available.

We held our engagement dinner for our daughter and her fiancé and his family in the private dining room last Saturday night and it was the best! From the cocktails to the inspired Chef's Tasting menu, everything was perfect! We will be returning to Barbuto on our next trip to NYC. Thank you for a memorable evening.

If I could eat there everyday I would! The gnocchi was my favorite! I believe they change it seasonally!
