This large and spacious white brick-walled restaurant is located in the meatpacking district of New York. With garage-style doors, cafe chairs, and an open kitchen, it has a very minimalist look but is comfortable nonetheless. Barbuto offers outdoor seating during Spring, so you can enjoy the open air while you munch away. The menu, which features regular Italian fare like pastas, antipasti and the like, changes everyday. Chef Jonathan Waxman is very particular about using the freshest of ingredients available.

RecommendedYou should order Waxman's chicken....the best! We got there when it opened @ 5:30PM by 6:15 people were being turned away at the door. Ken ordered the lamb and duck combo. It too was excellent. You cannot go wrong here. It's just tough getting a table.
Great food, great staff... Great evening! I could elaborate for 30 minutes... But if you are looking for a great neighborhood place to take a date or friends or...whoever. This is a great place.
Best chicken and friendly staff. A nice wine selection. Beautiful open space and I definitely will come back.
