Call in prescriptions when you say you will No one should have to go there and been seen on a Sunday be told a prescrpt will be called in and then go to get precsription on Monday to the pharmacy only to find out it was never called in...call you on Monday and get the run around and put on hold several times and be told the prescript will be sent in Then go pick up precrispt on Tuesday and STILL NOT CALLED IN...Call you back on Tuesday and told again it will be called in...We will see what Wed..brings...but boy you took the ... read more

I would recommend Physicians care in Hixson!! I went to urgent care in soddy on a Friday with abdomen pain. I was sent to get an xray and was told they would call with results. I call three times Friday and was told they had the xrays but the nurse was busy. I called Saturday morning and was told the same. I was still in pain on Monday and went to physicians care and was sent for a CT scan. Physicans care called me 15 minutes after leaving the scan telling me to go to the ER for appendicitis. Completely unprofessional and have no respect for patients. I had a 10am appointment this morning. I clocked out of my job and was there 10 minutes early like they ask. I call the front desk and they say “there’s an hour and a half wait”. I told her I made an appointment the day before for 10am and she said “like i said there’s a wait and someone will call you” I called once every 20 minutes or so to check to see when i could go, and finally they answered 2 hours later and said “sorry we don’t see your name in our system. I had given blood earlier for Red Cross blood drive. When I removed the tight wrap 3 and 1/2 hours later the blood flowed so fast I had trouble stopping it. I put a large gauze pad on it and managed to wrap the original elastic bandage and stop the blood flow. I went to this Baptist Urgent care and the nurse reacted to my need immediately! He took me to a room and removed my bandage and thankfully the bleeding did not start up again. He rebandaged and sent me on my way. Never took my name or insurance. Had a good experience bringing my foster daughter in for a sore throat. They had us in and out quickly. They take Medicaid which is rare for an urgent care facility. We will definitely be using them in the future!

They were all very nice and I didn't have to wait long at all. Sure was so much better than going to the ER at the hospital.

Waiting room is filthy. was there on Monday and they do not sterilize chairs or counters. people come and go and no one will come clean the chairs or wipe them. nurses not wearing masks, lady at front desk has mask under chin not covering nose or mouth.

I was so sick when I went there in February that I was almost afraid to drive myself there. All of the staff was very accommodating and concerned and had me in a treatment room almost immediately. As it turned out I had a very severe case of bronchitis. By the time I left there and arrived at my pharmacy, all of my prescriptions had been called in and were being prepared and I was home shortly. It was my first experience at Urgent Team and I was very pleased.
