October 23rd,2020 I lost my girl. My dog died of cancer because Dr. Newton in Clackamas misdiagnosed her. I first asked a vet through online chat about a bump my dog had in her mouth and showed a picture. The ONLINE vet told me it was cancer and take her in. So I did and Dr. Newton said it looked benign. And then it got worse and I took my dog in again, antibiotics. Then it got even worse so I took her in to get a biopsy but by that time, getting the results of cancer was too late. This place is horrible . My 12 year old cat was misdiagnosed here by Dr. ******** . When I brought my cat to Banfield I was hoping to get some answers about her limping and bulging hip. I was informed by Dr. ******** that my cat has "arthritis" and that x-rays would show it. She wanted to charge me $600 to sedate her. I was also told my cat has a heart murmur, my biggest question is why would she want to sedate a cat with a heart problem ?
