My dog had been seeing Banfield doctors for years but after having my concerns be ignored, and having an unnecessary test be performed without my permission on Friday at this location, I will not be back. On March 25,2022 I dropped my dog off at 8am for shot update and check up. By 10:45 am my dog was going to the emergency room. See Winston was a rescue and was terrified of crates. It was noted on his account he cannot be crated. And guess what they did? They crated him, when he got to emergency his temp was 108 and his heartbeat 196bpm. My dog was terrified. Banfield Pet Hospital in Rochester Hills Michigan took care of my Maggie for her entire 11 years of life. She was just a tiny puppy when we made our first visit. This week I had to ask them to put her to sleep due to a heart condition which made it impossible for her to breathe. During these 11 years Maggie received the best care I could have asked for my dog. Vaccinations, illness, a scary incident of eating something she should not have, and other assorted issues. The ladie in the front door is un respectful, mean an rude, the cost for the service is really expensive, they put the rabies vaccine and some de grommets and after a day my dog is in pain and acting wear I call them back and they said is nothing but if I wanted to take her back for a revision I have to pay extra money , Im really angry and uncomfortable with the service I wont come back and of course I wont recommend to anybody
Banfield in Rochester is fantastic. I had my puppy neutered here and he is on the wellness plan. It has saved me hundreds of dollars compared to going to a private practice as we did with our last dogs. I am completely satisfied with their quality of care, and coming into this with a medical practice background I have high expectations. I would recommend this location to anyone.
