I saw Dr. Deborah about a very personal and sensitive matter, and unfortunately, I found the experience quite upsetting. I didn’t feel listened to or supported, and I found her manner to be passive-aggressive and lacking in compassion. I was asked the same questions repeatedly, which made me feel uncomfortable and as though my concerns weren’t being taken seriously. Update 11/8/2026 - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dr Deborah Tse is an absolutely amazing and caring doctor. She takes the time to genuinely listen, understand my concerns, and provide such comprehensive and thoughtful advice. What I particularly appreciated was how she looked beyond the immediate reason for our visit and talked about important things I should consider as I travel and enter “golden years” — from suitable exercises and staying active, to the ABCs of looking after ourselves and making sure my vaccinations are up to date to protect my ... read more

I've been a patient at Balwyn Doctors for almost 30 years, and in that time I've come to appreciate just how rare it is to find a medical practice you can genuinely trust. I've been to other medical centres over the years—some cheaper, some closer to home—but I always come back to Balwyn Doctors. Be honest: this was a terrible experience. I went to this clinic due to ongoing shoulder pain. After the consultation, I was told I needed an MRI. I paid $300+ for it, and the report showed a labral tear and other injuries. I prefer rehabilitation rather than surgery, so I asked the doctor to provide a Medicare Chronic Disease Management (CDM) / GP Management Plan and Team Care Arrangement (TCA) referral so I could see a physiotherapist.
