If you want to be stuck without gas for no reason on thanksgiving go ahead and choose them. I have never experienced a worse company in my life. Six months later and they just picked up the tank we HAVENT BEEN USING FOR SIX MONTHS. And they wouldn’t give us our $1300.00 credit back until they picked it up, six months later. I paid $119.00 for Amerilock enrollment fee on 6-22-21 .This fee guaranteed the price per gallon of my propane to be $3.25 a gallon until 5-31-22. My propane was delivered on 5-2-22. The bill was $414.45. The price per gallon was $4.80. I phoned America's gas and asked them why they charged $4.80 a gallon. They looked up my account and confirmed my amerilock payment. Worse company ever! As others have stated on this site, they are pure out liars! I've had two incidence where the failed to deliver my gas and when I called, they said someone would be out same day and promised a call back within 20 minutes. Never heard anything from them. Had to wait multiple more days to get gas. They were great when it was Heritage Propane (local company), but once Amerigas bought them out, they are horrible. Purchased a house in 2017 and took over the lease on an Amerigas tank. We stayed on a call basis meaning we would call when needing propane. Paid for propane up front before delivery. Sold the home in February of 2022. Paid for tank lease in 2021. New owners took over tank lease. Had $200+ dollars in credit on the books when tank lease was transfered. Worst service ever! They "schedule" a delivery date dont show up i call reschedule still nothing i guess I should be happy i wasn't robbed at gunpoint
Overpriced compared to local supplier's . New orderi g system is complex. Unfriendly and inefficient. Long time customers over 20 years. New ownership has taken the simplest requests for fills overly difficult. Uninformed customer reps . Cancel your service. Poor quality customer help and services. Multiple phone numbers that provide little customer help.
The guys that deliver our propane are great however that is the end of any kind of customer service that you'll get from AmeriGas. I had a terrible time getting a refill. No one answers the phone. I have a credit with AmeriGas of $348.90 for overpayment and my calls to billing are being answered by a non English speaking representative on a phone line that keeps breaking up. Have used AmeriGas for 35 years, on 3 homes in SpringHill Fl. I have never had an issue until now. I run out of gas, Feb 8th, only used for cooking. I schedule delivery. in 2 weeks. I say sooner, they say $ 200.00 in 5 days! I don't have $ 200.00. I get home note on front door call office.
