I am very pleased so far – It was my first time at this vet,So far I am very pleased.Dr Woods Jr was very nice and knowledgeable.I been to a lot of vets,I think this one was the best so far.When I go to other vets I feel they are trying to get every dollar from me,I didn't feel this way today.I will be back to this vet, Highly recommend!!!!!!!!

Unprofessional Receptionist – I can't believe how rude this receptionist was to me on the phone yesterday. I work at a doggie daycare and boarding facility, and I was calling to have some vaccination records faxed over. The fax didn't go thru so I called back and I thought I was talking to the same [very nice lady] so I said "Hi its me again, the fax did't go thru again so I was wondering if you could just verify over the phone?" Years of service.... – Me and my family have been going to Dr. Woods for approximately 30+ years and will not go to any other veterinary hospital! Dr. Woods and his staff are very considerate, makes you feel comfortable in any situation when it comes to your loved one's health status, and the full attention you need with him is worth the gas to drive to the location! Yes, his facility gets busy, but I would worry about the competency of the staff and doctor if it was dead when I walk in. Being busy is a good sign, that means... read more

LOVE THIS VET – I've been going to this vet for almost 7 years now. I love both Dr. Woods Sr. & Jr. They are very knowledgeable and gentle with my animals. I have 4 dogs and 2 cats and have used these Dr's extensively and highly recommend them. Only one of my dogs doesn't like going to the vet - but thats only because she hates her nails being trimmed. The only problem I have is with one of the ladies at the front desk. She's kind of short with people and that's a turn off.

AWESOME VET & STAFF – I have been taking my 3 dogs there since they were puppies - a total of 9 years now. I used to live right around the corner from the vet so it was very convenient at first. I moved to Hutto about 2 years ago and tried the local vet there and was soooo disappointed that I went right back to Dr. Woods. Even though his office is a little out of my way, the service and attention my dogs get there is well worth the trip! My oldest dog is an all white boxer and has issues with getting cyst and skin allergies ... read more

Heartbroken – My little doggie/best friend anyone could ever have(for 9 years) died there a few days ago. Never ever go there! They didn't give him the attention he needed when I took him there a month ago. I will never be the same. I have never been so broken. I trusted them and thought they knew what they were doing. Their lack of compassion crushed me. I literally have a physical heart ache losing my little companion.

Worth the Drive – My family has been using this clinic for all of our pets for decades and we love them. A few years back I had a cat who suddenly began wheezing very early in the morning. I called the clinic and a vet tech answered the phone. Although the clinic wasn't open yet, they allowed me to bring the little guy in early to be seen. Unfortunately, he died an hour later from choking (before the vet could stop it), but I was grateful for the clinic accomodating my emergency.
