Great food! The decor was sports bar, and the music was great.
If you wanna wait 60 minutes for 5 wings and a burger come to this Bairs.
wasnt busy at 4:30 when we got there. Floors are slick and a slip hazard, food takes too long to come out and when it finally did it was warm like it had sit in the window forever. The service was slow.
my husband and I love bairs. we usually receive really great service. sadly that was not the case today. the waitress acted annoyed that we only ordered water to drink then after finally taking our food order we didn't see her again till right before our food was delivered to our table almost an hour after we arrived. I realize people have off days but come on if your gonna take an hour to make 2 burgers at least stay in contact with your customers. update: they did right and gave a discount for the long wait time. thank you... read more
My wife and I went there on Saturday afternoon and the only good thing about the experience was the service. The appetizers were ok but I ordered my burger medium rare. After three attempts they still couldn't make a burger medium rare and over did it every time. A place that is supposed to specialize in burgers can't even manage to cook a burger properly, while their menu is impressive it does little good when they can't cook them right. It was a disappointing experience and I just don't see a reason to come back.
Our waitress had an attitude like she hated her job from the beginning. After being seated less than 2 minutes she rudely said, "you ready?" We were brought out a wrap instead of the sandwich which wasnt a big deal. We nicely requested that we get the sandwich so they took the basket. The same fries were on the basket when they brought back the basket with the fresh sandwich, cold to the touch. Very disappointing and too many restaurant choices in Springfield to go back here.

I honestly just come for the fried pickles at Happy Hour. They're great! Service is hit or miss, but having worked in the food industry, I understand how hard it is when you have a bunch of customers (especially since I'm sure people are always asking for more beer).
This place is really great have a great half price appetizers and the food is all tasty
