Very disappointed in BA Lawn and Garden. Dropped my push mower off because of a clanking noise. I mentioned to the service gentleman it was probably a loose blade. Paid the $35 initial service fee. I had to call a week later to get status but their computers were down. Got a call the next day my mower was ready. I was charged an additional $13 on top of my $35 service fee. We needed another mower for our 13 acre property. I mow about 5 acres of it. I have resisted the 0 turn for YEARS as I have been set in my ways. My son recommended BA Lawn and Garden so my husband and I went there. We talked to Jonathan and he recommended the Toro 60" cut O-turn. Jonathan knew I was picky on my "cut and look", so this is why he recommended. I must say I am so aggravated with myself for not buying something like this YEARS ago! We had them service our Honda mower and once we got it back it failed to start. When we returned it they stated they had a 10 day wait. I felt that I pressed the issue that the mower ran fine before we brought it in for service which was blades and self propelled getting repaired only. They then stated the failure to start was due to bad fuel and got my mower done in 2-3 days but charged me a $25 rush fee. REALLY??? I have purchased two mowers from BA Lawn and Garden and have always received excellent service. The second mower was only a year old and a piston rod broke. The mower was still under warranty so they submitted the claim to the manufacturer and the manufacturer denied the claim claiming "oil starvation", but the BA Lawn and Garden tech had measured the oil when she drained the engine and the oil level was exactly within specs. I work with Jonathan. I met him at a garden show in Tulsa. I was about two months from buying a mower. I had not look a Gravely yet. I was originally sold on a different brand. He didn't try to sell me but gave me enough information for me to do some additional research on my own. I LOVE my Gravely ZTHD. It's an absolute beast!
