My most recent bad experience was ordering a ‘bargain bin’ bag of animal feed barley. The bag should have contained 45 pounds but was actually about 30 pounds. Instead of paying $ .51/pound, I actually paid about $ .70/pound! I reached out via email and phone and was told I had agreed to take the bag “as is” so nothing would be done. I expected an ugly bag with some product missing but certainly not missing 1/3 of the product. Fair warning - don’t order a bargain bin item! It’s not worth the small discount. For a bag that has been torn and taped there can be some product loss, but it sounds like more loss may have occured during the delivery process. I have ordered several times over the past couple years - I live a day away parcel service - I am normally trying to get produce. some has been excellent - some comes in very bad shape they have sent seconds when firsts are ordered and that is my complaint - right now I have most of a box of juice apples having ordered regular apples and the only way to get rid of them is put them in the garbage - they are too small and foo full of mold and worms to eats

Since we don't use infrared technology to scan the apples, we aren't able to see inside them to know if some worms made there way into them. Don't waste your time if you really need items. They will sell out last minute after your order has been placed. We have now placed three orders with them. The first went okay and only one item was out of stock out of 15, and I didn't expect it to ship. The second was notably worse with the same item going out of stock last minute after my order was placed and then two of my items not actually being shipped without being told. it was only when the driver couldn't find them was I notified, along with many other people at my d... read more

The order fulfillment system for our Truck Routes is designed in a way that allows us to offer the freshest products possible. In my experience, Azure Standard allows abusive and disrespectful behavior by their drop coordinators. Their customer service manager himself coordinates several drops and seems to identify with drop coordinators over customers. I ordered a lot from Azure Standard the past couple years, suffering disrespectful behavior by the drop coordinator in my area. She constantly communicated in such a way that customers frequently ended up waiting for 30 minutes for the truck (sitting in our cars), or she would suddenly say the truck ... read more
