I've probably only written five reviews in my life and felt the need to take a short time out to do this. I have used Jim at Axel Mortgage at least 8 times over the past ten years for purchases of rental properties and refinances. He always has the best rates and makes the process very simple. The website is simple to use and has current rates easy to find and a calculator to figure out payments. Jim does a great job communicating during the process. I highly recommend Axel Mortgage and no doubt will use him again.
After researching rates and visiting with a broker at a bigger operation, someone recommended that I speak with Jim at Axel Mortgage before making a decision. Thankfully, I heeded the advice and spoke to Jim about my impending purchase. Jim at Axel has been our go to guy for close to 20 years. We have not even looked to have anyone else handle our mortgage and our refinancing. Fantastic experience. I had never bought a home before and had interacted with several loan officers and bankers getting various quotes and having a lot of questions go unanswered. The whole process made me feel like I was on my own and could not really trust some of the pitches I was getting.
