Axel Mortgage and Jim Merrill provided me with outstanding and prompt service from beginning to finish during my refinanacing process. This is my second experience with Jim, and I could not be more pleased. My rate is excellent, and lower than I could find elsewhere as a self employed person, and the entire process was seamless. Jim is a highly professional and cost effective mortgage broker, and I highly recommend him.

It's now the 3rd time I have used Axel Mortgage and even though there are plenty of larger online opportunities I keep going back to Axel. I received a very competitive rate on my mortgage but the main reason is the service. As someone very busy with work and home life they make it easy by updating me what information may be needed by what date so the process is seemless and non stressful. Jim was extremely helpful, responsive and encouraging. After past poor experiences with lending, he was a breath of fresh air, by making everything easy and quick. He answered all my questions regardless of how small, always within the day if not in min of receiving it. Doing much of the work on line and at the place of my choosing made it convenient. I can not say enough to express my pleasure with the experience

Jim of Axel Mortgage is second to none. He did a great job helping us with a recent cash out refi. His knowledge of the business is a real asset as well. Absolutely outstanding! I can't say enough about Jim M****** of Axel Mortgage. Every time I had questions or clarifications, they were answered promptly. There were no obstacles what so ever on his end, making the process go by much faster than expected. I'm so glad that I was able to work with him and am very grateful for all the help he provided. Exceptional experience.. Jim helped us through ALL the questions and offered us by far the best rate on a 450k loan 30 year fixed. He answered all our questions (even late and weekends) he was prompt in doing so. He was very helpful leading us to understand the process better. I believe I asked him 37 times the same question just worded a bit differently and he answered with a kind heart every time. This is my 2nd time using Axel Mortgage. The reason I came back again is simple… Jim Merrill. Jim is hands on and there with you every step of the process. Jim applies a strong work ethic along with a genuine concern for his clients.
