First off i wanna say he is a great Dr and great with children ,went above and beyond for my 3 year old son that I took to the emergency room stay after hours and even came in on a Sunday which was Mother's Day. Takes pride in his job of helping kids which is hard to find wish he was my pediatrician
I can't remember the last appointment my daughter had with Dr. Awner at the Amherst location. I can tell you it is worth the effort & wait to be under his care. I took my daughter to Dr. Awner when she was around two years old. We noticed her eye was slightly off. And come to find out she was blind in that eye. Dr. Awner worked with us to fix her eye WITH OUT surgery. We used patching and she needed glasses. Dr. Awner was fantastic with our daughter. She is now 14 and her eye is at 20/50.
Very difficult to make an appointment. Canceled my appointment once without setting up a makeup time. Go to other doctors instead
