We have been seeing Dr. Awner for 19 years. He is the most kind and knowledgeable Dr. I know. I would recommend him to anyone who has eye issues.
Dr. Awner is fantastic and thorough and will take his time to explain and answer all questions. Our kids really like him. This comes at that cost of time, so be prepared with books and toys and snacks to wait well over an hour in most cases to be seen.
Dr. Awner is a very compassionate provider and when he comes in contact with his patients, he has a very warm welcoming approach. My daughter is a feisty, strong, willed little lady, and has experienced many doctors visits with not the same success. As she gets older things get better, but when she comes in here, she at least improves each time. The staff is very welcoming and engaging in very positive ways. We went for my young sons first eye exam. The entire staff we interacted with was outstanding and Dr. Awner was excellent with my son and very patient. The length of the exam from the time we got there to the time we left was, I felt, extreme. We were there for just under 3 hours. I appreciate the staff and doctor taking the time to do everything thoroughly and was assured the appointments going forward won't be so long. Hopefully that is the case! Dr. Awner was very thorough with us and put my mind at ease about upcoming surgery for my 1 year old. Did not feel rushed at all and he addressed all our concerns.

This is my 3rd child to see Dr. Awner. We have been so happy with his services over the years. Very kind & patient with young children & takes time to explain treatments to parents.
Dr. Awner was excellent with my 3 year old. Great bedside manner, quick and decisive. Also really reassured me as a parent.
