Dr. Awner is always very caring and thorough. He listens and never in a hurry. I appreciate the time he takes and the level of care he provides.
There was a little wait, but it was worth it. Dr. Awner explains and takes his time with my daughter’s eyes. (Hope it stays that way?) Compared to the other doctor that my daughter was seeing, didn’t explain much at all.

Dr Awner is by far one of best doctors I've met. Always has been VERY thorough, soft spoken, and great with kids. I would recommend him to all my friends and family! He's the best!
The appointment was a little long, they had to dilate his eyes but the doctor is excellent, so great and patient with children. He also took the time to really explain to me the issue and resolutions. Highly recommend for young children but do bring a snack and something for the child to do incase the appointment takes a long time.
Dr. Awner is a great doctor but the wait times are crazy at this office.
Worked well with my 2.5-year-old daughter. Calm demeanor which helped her feel relaxed. He addressed questions and explained thoroughly.
Doctor Awner has taken care of my daughter’s eyes since her first amblyopia surgery when she was fifteen months. His work has held up for seventeen years now, so he is mighty good. Even more remarkable is his bedside manner. Very calming and kind. Kids seem to relate to him well, and he is able to diagnose and fix issues beautifully. I wish he was my doctor!
