Dr Awner is the absolute best with kids. He has a calming effect when he comes in the room and listens to the kids when they speak. We have also never had to wait long in his office to see him.
Dr Awner was thorough, kind and patient with my 4 year old.
Dr Awner is a great doctor who seems to really care about his patients. His bedside manor is exceptional, he seems to take the time needed for each patient, and he patiently answers all of your questions with ease and grace.

Dr. Awner finally walked in the room at 4:00pm for a 2:00pm appointment for my three-year-old. When I voiced my frustration with him, his response led me to believe that this is common practice and nothing out of the ordinary in his office.
We do not feel rushed and answers our questions.
I have eye issues that only Dr. Awner has been able to diagnose and correct. I can’t thank him enough!
90 minute wait time for a child is ridiculous. Dr. Awner was incredibly short and condescending and has no patience with children, especially special needs children. He made my son wait so long that he was very antsy for his appointment. Sorry doc, I can’t “keep my child in line” as you put it. We never went back.
Outstanding! Strabismus problem resolved. Eye glass prescription is the best I’ve ever had. Great to be a patient of Dr. Awner. Good guy, terrific ophthalmologist.
