We are from Baton Rouge, and visited Avondale Antiques 09/23 on our way to Cahaba brewery. Got to meet Fred, the owner, who was very friendly and knowledgeable. Great inventory selection! Will definitely visit on a return visit to Birmingham. Didn't make it to Fred's restaurant recommendation "The Bright Star" in Bessemer. We will put that on our next "to do list".

Every time my husband and I drop in to browse we never leave empty handed! Fred provides amazing customer service and always welcomes our baby son with a sweet toy (SO NICE). He is very generous and fair when it comes to pricing and goes above and beyond to make us feel like valued customers. Inventory is constantly being updated as well so there is something new to discover each trip. Thanks Fred and team!! Can't wait to drop by again soon.

I went into the store a week ago looking for an extra long mid-century dresser to use as an entertainment center. Fred didn't have one but took my number in case something came in. Fred called on Saturday saying he got nine-drawer American of Martinsville dresser set and it's absolutely beautiful. The perfect addition to our living room with the matching tall boy in the guest room. Amazing customer service with fair prices. We'll be stopping by regularly.
