Absolutely love Avondale Animal Hospital. Since I got my sweet Ava they have cared for her wonderfully. I'm currently deployed and my friend had to carry her to another vet because it was the closest place she could get to and Avondale was very helpful and made me stress a little less knowing they had all her paperwork correct when they sent it on.
Dr. Michael Atchison has taken great care of my two, and now three, huskies. He is thorough, knowledgable, and has a great bedside manner.
I have trusted the staff and Dr. Harris with my cats since 1990. They have seen us through injuries, cancer, kidney failure, and diabetes with compassion, knowledge, and practicality. I trust their judgement without question, knowing that Dr. Harris will explain the options and why he recommends one over another.
I'm looking forward to the new location! I would never take my animals anywhere else. Dr. Harris, Janet, and the rest of the staff are really excellent.
Love the vets and everyone is super nice. The only thing I took stars off that after a $300 surgery, we don't even get a free cone. That put me off a bit. Also you don't get a detailed receipt, which I think is needed.
