Love Boy's Mama I am doing this about a year after the fact but I wanted to share the information that you simply can't find better care for your pet. The vets and associates are compassionate, patient and caring. They really do create a family atmosphere. Good, good people.
Frodo's Mom Does your pet hate to go to the vet? My dog actually scratches at the door to get in here! He is in the Doggy Daycare program and loves all the wonderful young women who entertain him each day. When I pick him up after work he is tired and happy--just they way he should be. Even though he is a rescue and has separation anxiety, he runs in to greet everyone and never looks back. I have heard from others that the veterinary care is excellent, too. The front desk staff, vet tech and veterinarian all went above and beyond. This was our first time at AAH and I will definitely go back. Things are really challenging right now because of Covid restrictions but AAH turned an appointment that could have been highly stressful into a pleasant experience.

The nurse (idk what her actual title was but nurse:doctor::she:vet) was SO nice!! She held my Chihuahua while I paid. The vet was very helpful too. He made sure I got the most cost-effective treatment and actually cared about my feelings on my dog's care.
Back in the days of Southside Animal Clinic, Dr. Harris took such good care of my little dog Oscar. And that kind, caring atmosphere has transferred to Avondale Animal Hospital and Dr. Atchison. Whether our visit is routine or emergency, not only do I feel like my buddy is getting well cared for, I feel cared for. Thanks to each of you who work so hard to provide such compassionate care to both two-legged and four-legged friends. Oscar and I are grateful for you!
