First time staying in North Myrtle and we love it. We love Avista and will be back next year.
Just returned from our stay at Avista Resort. The staff is amazing. A special shout out to Cornelia Johnson, she works in the on site restaurant. We stopped by and they were closing in 20 mins. We didn’t want to impose and was going to go somewhere else. She insisted they get us a to go order. So friendly and professional. Room was clean and comfy. This was our first stay at Avista and we were pleased with our stay!! The room was spacious and clean. The four of us (2 adults and 2 children) stayed in a 2 bedroom condo and were never felt like we were on top of each other. The beds were comfortable and the room was nice. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our only “negative” (and it really isn’t a bad one) is that the parking deck was a little tight for our bigger truck. We had an excellent stay at Avista Resort. The rooms were clean, loved the full kitchen, so I could cook breakfast in the morning. There were six of us. Only one bathroom but it could have slept 8 adults. We always had plenty of towels and housekeeping was good. We had one call because our room was not clean when we came back. The issue was resolved quickly. One issue where it took a few calls to get clean towels but I’ll let that slide. No place is 100% perfect when you are taking care of thousands of guest. Perfection..... Our visit was lovely. I can't say enough good things about this resort. Staff, rooms, facilities, and dining are all top notch. Thank you Avista for making our stay so very memorable!
Came here for our anniversary. The room was spacious and the clean. It was nice sitting on the balcony and just relaxing. Housekeeping was there to replace and clean the room. The management also was quick to replace the coffee Pot. All in all it was a very nice stay. I would come back for another stay. It was a nice vacation.
Love the resort. Only problem I have is no restroom close to the pool.
This was a last minute mini vacay with the family to celebrate Father's Day and our usual hotel/ resort had no vacancies. Avista was highly recommended and we truly enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and rooms were well maintained. Parking in the parking deck was a bear but overall we loved it and will definitely book again.
