I think your program is great! I rescued a baby sparrow and took care of it for several days. When I no longer could care for it any longer I contacted avian and they jumped right on it and that's what I love to see! They were so very quick to help me with this matter and took the bird in so it can get the proper care it needs! On our walk this morning we came up on an injured pileated woodpecker. After calling dispatch we were rerouted to the warden service, who connected us to avian haven. Diane helped coordinate and a volunteer met us in a nearby town in less than an hour. Pretty amazing response for a Sunday morning on a busy Fourth of July weekend! Thank you for all you do!!!
Diane and Mark are simply amazing. They have guided myself and thousands of others on how to catch an injured bird and get them to them for care and rehab. They, their help, and their facility are amazing. I am so thankful that Avian Haven is there for our feathered friends in need!
