My 6yr old daughter and I found a baby bird injured on the ground during our walk on a very busy road. We picked it up and took it home. I was referred to Avian Haven from family friend. I called and within an hour they were at my house to pick the bird up!! Couldn’t believe how helpful and fast they acted!! Thank you Avain Haven

Avian Haven is so knowledgeable and kind! They have been very helpful when I have found injured birds.
On a Sunday in the middle of COVID19 on a neighborhood bike ride we found an injured hawk (car hit?). We scooped it up, put it in a box, and called Avian Haven. They answered the phone and within 10 minutes a volunteer had called us back to meet us halfway. We met him 50 minutes later, handed off the bird. Got a text telling us he arrived and it was a Coopers Hawk. Next day a text the bird was doing well Thank Avian Haven for all they do!
These folks are the real deal! Kind and caring, knowledgeable, and efficient. Our hand-off of an injured bird went without a hitch, even working around social distancing. Thank you so much!
Just want to thank you guys for being there when I called today about the Robin that got hit. Wish he had made it. Brakes my heart. He was a beautiful bird.
