I injured my finger a year ago (Yes. I waited that long out of fear to get it fixed. Pain eventually won).Dr Avant & his staff were very compassionate & non-judgmental. Once I told him of my fears, he put me at ease. I can honestly say I had zero pain. I only took an NSAID for the first 2 days to help with the swelling. He explained exactly what I could expect. I would highly recommend this Dr .

I've had a couple of bad surgeries in my adult life. I learned to really look at Orthopedic Surgeons and review them very well,ask about them, look at the reviews on them. I had a bad knee surgery about 9 years ago that left me in agony. I learned a valuable lesson to really look into Surgeons before I allowed them to do any surgery on me. Dr. Avant came in and super cool from the start. He didn’t beat around the bush and told me how it’s gonna be with a tendon repair. His office staff are super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend
