absolutely horrible experience. Waiting room grossly overcrowded during a pandemic. Very angry waiting patients as schedule was about 1.5 hours behind. Of course I was requested to be there 30 minutes before my appointment which I was. Attempted to tell the person at the window that I was leaving but she wasn't there? After I drove 30 minutes to get home she called to tell me it was my fault ! what a disgraceful way to treat patients. A little communication or reschedule options would be undesirable but understandable.

Fixed by distal bicep tendon back to where it belonged with no problems!! That arm is almost as strong as it previously was a year ago. Great bedside manners and his PA is awesome too!

Okay so I was Dr.Avant patient this am (07/30/2020)and I was very scared had crying moments Even when DR AVANT walked in my room he greeted me and my guest with a loving smile and made me feel very comfortable he let me know I would be fine?? but that wasn’t just that from him on down to the nurses like he said would take good care of me they all did a well great job I have no bad things to say bc God most definitely put me and my life in a great doctor and the staff hands he was fast and awesome thank you and be bless he al... read more

Dr Avant is one of the best Dr’s I’ve ever had. He was caring, knowledgeable and very confident. He calls his patients the next day after surgery (not his nurse) to check on them. That was very impressive to me! Dr’s just don’t do that anymore. I would highly recommend Dr Avant!!!

I found Dr. Avant very professional and very knowledgeable and very pleasant to talk to. He will always honest and is a God send would never dream of using anyone else. you can trust him...His staff is wonderful as well. I highly remmend !!!

Im Dr Avants patient the first time I met him in the office, my gut feeling told me this Man is the most amazing Dr ever! I've had to deal with a lot of physicians in my lifetime and this Man is top notch! I'm glad my back is in his care! He's amazing and compassionate and understands you are in pain and doesn't beat around the bush if it's serious! I'd recommend him for all orthopedic situations!

I found Dr. Avant very professional and very knowledgeable and very pleasant to talk to. I am very confident in the surgery he preformed on my arm and plan to see him again. I also saw his PA and I was introduced to him and knew exactly who I was dealing with. It was Dr. Avant’s surgery day is why I saw the PA. I also found the PA to be very knowledgeable. I am very pleased with my dealings with Dr. Avant’s office and all his staff.

His office allows the PA to seemingly pose as Dr. Avant without proper introduction and identification in scheduling and during visit. We were told he supports his PA without knowing the advice given and we were given the run around on a break and careless instruction. We were then told Dr. Avant will not return phone calls and requires an office visit to speak with him about a past appointment. He is only available two days a week for appointments which require a full payment, copay or otherwise. Our impression is a complet... read more
