Issues Elevator and spa breaks down constantly. Fire alarms all around the building and in the rooms go off all the time for no reason. Expect homeless people outside the building constantly. If not for these issues, it would be a great place to live.
RecommendedAVA Little Tokyo is a great place to live and I highly recommend this property. This past Sunday, our sink was backed up/clogged and I called the emergency line around 5:30pm thinking no one would be able to help us. But sure enough, within 5 minutes of submitting my request, the maintenance tech, Walter, called me and told me he'd be over in 45 mins. He was so helpful, pleasant, friendly and got the job done as fast as possible. Very happy with the service we received.
Ava Little Tokyo is really a great apartment. It is close to highway and tons of delicious restaurants. The staff here is really nice. The manager Angela is patient and professional. She helps us a lot. She always reply and follows up promptly when we have questions. We recommend people to choose Ava Little Tokyo.
I love living in AVA! So close to everything in Downtown. I always feel safe in the complex. It's very clean, I love my apartment view! The staff is friendly.
Wonderful place to live, with such an awesome staff who truly care. Within a month of living here, all the staff knew our names. Friendly and diligent maintenance team, great amenities. And the rooftop view 😍.
Parking here is ridiculous! They have a parking garage for the retail and often the entrance arm is "broken" so you can't get a ticket, but when you leave they tell you that you have to pay for the "lost ticket," which is $30. Would not recommend parking here unless you want to be scammed out of money.
Amazing building and location! Mark, Tyler, and Angela in the office are always super cool and helpful with maintenance issues and the move-in process. Feels like living in a resort right in the middle of Little Tokyo.
We have lived in this awesome complex for almost 5 months now and have loved every day of it! Angela and the amazing front staff have taken care of us since the first day. They have made us feel at home, answered any open questions, and have been flexible when we needed anything. The other day, I had forgotten my ID in the lobby and when requested, Angela came down at 9pm to unlock the door so that I could board my flight the next day.
