I took my car in before Christmas to get an inspection and it failed; for good reason. There were parts missing in my car and I had a busted CV joint and the oil was sprayed on basically everything. The owner told me that I would have to spend at least 1400-1600 dollars to just have it pass inspection and then probably more. I had a certified mechanic look at it and he ended up letting me buy the parts and then doing the labor for a grand total of 600. Thats including parts people.
